Registered Nurse; RN Floor Nurse

Overview

Eventide‑Tabitha is hiring a Full‑Time Registered Nurse (RN) for a day shift (6:00 AM‑6:30 PM, 12 hours). The role includes an every‑third‑weekend and holiday rotation.

The Charge Nurse provides and ensures that the highest degree of nursing care is provided in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and the philosophy, policies and procedures of Eventide‑Tabitha.

• Minimum age of 18.
• Completion of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse course of study (High School Diploma or equivalent preferred).
• At least 6 months experience as an RN or LPN.
• RN or LPN license in good standing on the Nebraska State Registry or another Nurse Compact state. CPR required. Licenses/credentials must be kept current at the employee’s expense and must meet Tabitha’s vaccination requirements.

• Follow physician orders and document appropriately.
• Prepare, administer, and/or supervise medications, treatments, and other nursing services per physician orders and facility policies.
• Assess seniors/clients for physical, mental, and psychosocial status; report changes promptly; communicate with family and physician as directed; take accurate vital signs.
• Observe skin to prevent pressure ulcers per Tabitha policies.
• Document procedures accurately and in a timely manner following department protocols.
• Direct and monitor Med Aides when delivering medications.
• Supervise and educate seniors/clients for self‑administration of medications; assist in teaching necessary skills for home return.
• Assist in writing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans; update plans based on changes in the senior/client’s condition.

Competitive starting pay range of $36‑$40.32 per hour for RNs, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials available for select positions.
