Registered Nurse – CVRU (Cardiovascular Recovery Unit)

Full Time, 36 Hours/Week – Days

• Delivers high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures, including PCI, pacemaker placement, peripheral vascular procedures, IR procedures, respiratory failure, DKA/insulin drips, post–STEMI recovery, and other acute and complex cardiac and critical care diagnoses.
• Functions with a high degree of clinical judgment, accountability, and critical thinking while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Coordinates care for a group of patients with the multidisciplinary team and delegates tasks appropriately.
• Identifies hospital resources and serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
• Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within the unit or department.

• Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
• Pacemaker placement
• Peripheral vascular procedures
• Interventional radiology (IR) procedures
• Respiratory failure
• DKA/insulin drips
• Post–STEMI recovery
• Other acute and complex cardiac and critical care diagnoses

• Less than one year of applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Registered Nurse – Various Associate Degree.
