Occupational Health Nurse (RN or LPN)

Full‑time, ongoing contract opportunity with a manufacturing client in Lincoln, NE.

The clinic offers occupational and preventative care for employees. A small clinic typically works alongside one other nurse. The position focuses on protecting individuals from occupational and environmental hazards, illness and injury prevention, and health promotion.

Shifts
:
Monday–Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (flexibility needed for earlier start time, as‑needed).

• Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Nebraska
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a nurse
• Previous experience in occupational/employee health, emergency medicine, urgent care, corrections, primary care, or family practice
• Confident with technology (Cority experience a plus) and ability to work independently

• Triage and provide nursing services or arrange higher level of care for employees who become ill or suffer a workplace injury
• Manage clinic supplies and equipment
• Provide medical testing: phlebotomy, drug testing, pulmonary function tests, EKGs, biometric screenings (glucose monitoring, cholesterol screening)
• Treat common ambulatory conditions (sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye) and provide OTC medications
• Support and case‑manage work‑related and non‑work‑related conditions to reduce illness and absenteeism (return‑to‑work, fitness‑for‑duty)
• Travel health consultation, health coaching, and health education
• Immunizations/injections
• Respond to medical emergencies onsite and provide emergency care as needed (assist first responders)

• Current BLS certification
• Prior knowledge of occupational health and workers’ compensation services
• Computer skills; prior experience using EMR (experience with Cority a plus)

LPN: $26.00 – $31.00 per hour

RN: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
