Med Specialty Nursing Assistant, Part-Time

Overview

Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, Missouri is looking for a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide individualized patient care in a supportive environment.

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks.
• Assist with activities of daily living and care such as bathing, hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning.
• Anticipate patient and family needs proactively.
• Individualize and modify care according to patient needs.
• Collaborate with health‑care team members to enhance patient care.
• Support patient safety and satisfaction by performing regular rounds on the nursing unit and communicating effectively with all team members.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a respectful, kind atmosphere for patients and staff.

• Applicable experience:
  Less than 1 year.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Strong communication and time‑management skills.
• Team‑oriented, eager to expand skills, with strong attention to detail.
• No healthcare experience required.
