* * RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated
* * Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with Common Spirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
** Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.
**** Fingernail policy:
Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract

* We have updated ratios with the new VIC (Virtually Integrated Care) model.

We are implementing a dyad model. This means the nurse will have their own CNA and the support of a virtual nurse. The nursing ratio for Med/Surg will now be 1:6 7, and the CNA ratio will also be 1:6 7. The virtual nurse will have a ratio of 1:30.
