POSITION:
Certified Nursing Assistant, 7am-3pm, 40 hours per week, rotating weekends and holidays

UNIT OVERVIEW:
Extended Care North (ECN)– Serving residents in a long term care setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members
• Assists patients with activities of daily living which may include dressing, feeding, bathing or any other hygiene needs
• Assists the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinations
• Takes vital, documents status and gives treatment as directed by Registered Nurse
• Performs other related projects and duties as assigned

  EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• 18 year of age
• Successful completion of the 75-hour state approved nurse aide training program
• Active Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in good standing in Nebraska
