Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2200 per week

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Credentials:
Pass/fail open-book exam on Friday during orientation; must receive 90% to pass.

Special Requests:
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Unit Details:
Charge RN nights. Charge nurses ideally do not take patients, but may take patients at night if staffing is short; rarely, they may take patients if census is less than 22. Dyad model with dedicated CNA support and virtual nurse support; virtual nurse ratio 1:30. Common patient populations include medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients. Heparin is the only titratable drip on the unit.

Tele is available on the floor with a centralized tele station. RT is available on the floor 24 hours.

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekends as needed. Holidays as needed. No call.

Floating Requirements:
Float to PCU or Burn.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
