Unit Notes Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with Common Spirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles. Fingernail policy:
Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated Department:

BLS Beds: 42 Ratios: 1:5-6 How often are staff taking a 1:6 ratio? At least once a week Common diagnoses/Types of patients:
Medical, surgical, and orthopedics Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Yes Any titratable drips? NO, except Heparin RT available and what equipment? (has only worked with RT doing all setup) RT is 24 hours on the floor Tele on the floor at all, central tele (any monitor techs)? Yes Tele's on the floor, but we have a centralized Tele station Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit?
