Landscape Gardener

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Landscape Gardener to work at Grand Lodge located at 4400 South 80th Street, Lincoln, NE 68516. Grand Lodge has 109 independent and 10 assisted living apartment homes.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with on‑call for snow removal.

Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

The overall purpose of this job is to provide ongoing maintenance to the community’s landscaping. The responsibilities of this job include caring for trees, shrubs, flowers, landscape amenities, turf, and bedding areas by controlling insects, disease, and weeds, and planting and removing trees and flowers.

Two (2) years of landscaping and gardening experience is required.

Pesticide applicator certification or ability to obtain within twelve (12) months of hire is required.

Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
