Impact of the Role
General Profile- Requires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical scientific or operational processes.
- Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise.

Essential Functions
- Defines and specifies activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for materials, components, or products.
- Builds and maintains the infrastructure and systems to ensure the timely delivery of quality products.
- Identifies and addresses issues with equipment performance.
- Audits, monitors, and determines the quality of manufacturing processes and outputs against internal and regulatory standards.
- Reports and troubleshoots manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods.
- Conducts tests on materials or samples to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Required education and experience: Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2‑5 years’ experience OR equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred education and experience: Associate’s Degree.
- Discipline/Major: Technical training preferred.
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Technical expertise; ability to identify and seek needed information; research skills; problem‑solving skills.
Physical Requirements
- Requires regular movement throughout GD‑OTS facilities.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
- May need to stand for long periods of time.
- Work may require operating machinery inside and outside with exposure to changing climate.
- May be requested to work a different shift.
- Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as required.
- This position is Safety‑Sensitive.
Travel Requirements
- Requires regular movement throughout GD‑OTS facilities.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
- May need to stand for long periods of time.
