Summary:

The Quality Control / Safety Manager is responsible for:

• Reporting Directly to Corporate QC Safety Director, with technical direction provided by the local Project Manager
• Supervising and monitoring QC staff and QC Program processes and activities.
• Overseeing the implementation of a quality control system (QCS)
• Utilizing iAuditor as the primary means of QC documentation and providing that information to the Servicer Order Dispatcher for further posting to NCMMS
• Continually reviewing and revising (annually or as needed) the QCS to meet contract objectives and to maintain the effectiveness of the plan.
• Reviewing and approving Quality Control Plans.
• Advising on Quality, certification and acceptance criteria for material purchase, specialist packages and services.
• Following up on all open Corrective Action Reports and ensuring they are properly closed out.
• Monitoring and conducting staff safety training as scheduled
• This is a Full-time Exempt position which requires travel in and around the Omaha and Lincoln Nebraska areas.

• At least 2 years of experience managing and implementing a quality control/ Safety system for mechanical maintenance and administration of government facilities. Formal education related to quality or safety can be substituted for experience.
• Service inspected should include full facilities maintenance, energy management, custodial, grounds and tenant support services.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or quality/safety field preferred.
• Six (6) Sigma Green belt and/or executing an ISO certified quality/safety system desired.
• OSHA 40 Safety Certification and 40-Hour HAZWOPER training course preferred.

• Must pass a government background check and be able to maintain facility access.
• Must have a valid state drivers license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to work independently and with a team.

A background check and drug screen will be conducted for this position.
