Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will identify and proactively prevent issues that can detract from or degrade contract performance on a government work site. The Quality Manager shall be responsible for all quality activities within task areas and implement a contractor project quality control program to ensure quality outcome, training, and government customer requirements are met within a records center/file storage facility environment.

The Quality Manager will lead a team of quality auditors and tutors to perform all audit and training functions.

• Ensure services are performed to government customer standards.
• Develop procedures to identify and prevent occurences of defective services.
• Develop and oversee procedures to remediate and processes where acceptable quality levels are not being met.
• Analyze quality data collected and recommend related changes to the Program Manager.
• Manage corrective action requests and error transmittal reports for timely resolution and document the final disposition for quality issues.
• Recommend changes regarding quality control.
• Coordinate quality performance and customer quality service issues with government personnel and Contractor’s Program Manager.
• Provide guidance, training, and implementation of the Contractor’s Quality Control Program onsite.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Three (3) years of experience in managing quality control operations.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing and monitoring internal procedures for adherence to Government regulations and policies and coordinating operational and administrative actions.
• Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines:
  Program Management, Business or Public Administration, Production/Operations/Manufacturing/Quality Management, Technical Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or Finance/Accounting.
• Must possess, or successfully obtain within 180 days of contract award, a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
