Description Of WorkThe lab’s focus is to understand how the brain supports complex behavior. We focus on how connectivity and communication between different areas of the brain underlie these processes. We use network neuroscience to examine structural and functional features of the brain in conjunction with several other techniques including multivariate pattern analysis, graph theory, and machine learning. Our research also explores interventions to improve brain health and cognition.

The Research Technician II will be responsible for data collection from human research participants, through behavioral assessments and in a brain imaging setting, as well as the analysis of those data. Administrative duties include recruiting and scheduling subjects, maintaining accurate records, data entry, and clear communication with the rest of the team. The Research Technician II will also play an important role in recruiting, training and overseeing undergraduate research assistants.

Minimum Qualifications- Associate’s in psychology, neuroscience, biology, or a related field and one year of research lab experience or equivalent; equivalent education/experience considered.
- Excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills.
- Ability to learn tools and procedures, and work in a collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Familiarity with MRI techniques
- Familiarity with cognitive assessment
- Programming experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft software (including One Drive/SharePoint)
- CITI training for working with human subjects.
$18.784/hr minimum
