We are seeking an experienced Senior Scientist – Method Development to support analytical method development and validation activities within a fast-paced laboratory environment. This highly technical role is responsible for developing, validating, and troubleshooting analytical methods to ensure products consistently meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in analytical chemistry, chromatographic techniques, laboratory instrumentation, and cGMP environments. This position requires the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive scientific excellence and continuous improvement.

Pay Rate: $60.69/hour
Key Responsibilities- Develop, optimize, validate, and transfer analytical methods for pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare products.
- Design and execute analytical experiments using HPLC, UPLC, GC, and Mass Spectrometry (MS).
- Perform method validation activities in accordance with cGMP and regulatory guidelines.
- Investigate analytical issues and troubleshoot laboratory methods and instrumentation.
- Support impurity identification and structure elucidation activities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for analytical methods and laboratory instrumentation.
- Maintain, calibrate, qualify, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
- Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), data integrity requirements, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Prepare technical reports, protocols, and laboratory documentation.
- Lead technical projects while meeting project timelines and deliverables.
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, and other cross-functional teams.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and analytical capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in:
- Analytical chemistry
- Method development
- Method validation
- Laboratory instrumentation
- Strong experience with:
- HPLC
- UPLC
- Analytical method development
- Laboratory troubleshooting
- Thorough understanding of:
- cGMP regulations
- Data Integrity
- Laboratory documentation
- Instrument calibration and qualification
- Ability to independently manage technical projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- PhD in Chemistry OR
- Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant analytical laboratory experience OR
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant analytical chemistry experience
- Specialization in Analytical Chemistry
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or consumer healthcare industries
- Experience with GC and Mass Spectrometry (MS)
- Experience supporting regulated laboratory environments
