The White Hart Hotel is looking for a Head Kitchen Porter to join our dedicated kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Porter ready to take the next step, working alongside our established porter team to help maintain our 5-star hygiene rating and exceptionally high standards.

As Head Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of the kitchen, supporting chefs and leading the kitchen porter team to ensure a clean, safe, and well-organised environment at all times.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting the Kitchen Porter team on a day-to-day basis
• Maintaining excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas
• Supporting the upkeep of our 5-star food hygiene rating
• Stock ordering and control of cleaning supplies
• Training and onboarding new Kitchen Porter team members
• Ensuring all health & safety and food hygiene legislation is followed at all times
• Working closely with the kitchen management team to uphold high operational standards

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter
• A strong understanding of health & safety and food hygiene regulations
• A proactive, reliable, and organised approach
• Confidence in training and supporting team members
• A positive attitude and pride in maintaining high standards
