The Retail Production Team Lead is a valuable member of the Dining Service Retail team and the success of the retail departments.
As a Retail Production Team Lead you will:
- Oversee and lead the production center operations
- Participate in volume forecasting and supply ordering
- Food preparation for Herbie Markets, Tazza Coffee, and other retail locations
- Lead, train, and provide feedback to production center staff
- Manage quality control, costs, and food safety

MinimumRequired Qualifications
- High school or equivalent experience.
- Three years of food preparation experience and mastery of all kitchen and dining tasks and attributes; equivalent experience/education considered.
- Ability to read, write, weigh, and measure necessary.
- The ability to communicate is essential.
- Must have the ability to train and lead others.
- Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs required.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience relevant food/dietetic/hospitality or business field.
- Management experience in a non-commercial dining service operation desirable.
- Food Handlers permit or ability to obtain by passing Safety and Sanitation test.
$16.76/hr
