The Retail Production Team Lead is a valuable member of the Dining Service Retail team and the success of the retail departments.

As a Retail Production Team Lead you will:

• Oversee and lead the production center operations
• Participate in volume forecasting and supply ordering
• Food preparation for Herbie Markets, Tazza Coffee, and other retail locations
• Lead, train, and provide feedback to production center staff
• Manage quality control, costs, and food safety

• High school or equivalent experience.
• Three years of food preparation experience and mastery of all kitchen and dining tasks and attributes; equivalent experience/education considered.
• Ability to read, write, weigh, and measure necessary.
• The ability to communicate is essential.
• Must have the ability to train and lead others.
• Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs required.

• Associate degree or equivalent experience relevant food/dietetic/hospitality or business field.
• Management experience in a non-commercial dining service operation desirable.
• Food Handlers permit or ability to obtain by passing Safety and Sanitation test.
