The Dining Associate is a key position within University Dining Services.
As a Dining Service Associate, you will perform tasks in multiple areas/functions within the Dining Center, such as:
- Perform kitchen duties; including ingredient and food preparation, inventory, cooking and assembling recipes
- Set up and tear down stations
- Dish machine operations
- Build recipes based on established processes, procedures, guidelines, and recipes
- Monitor food quality, food presentation, and control food waste
- Assist within other areas as needed and other duties assigned
This position is considered essential and may have weekend or evening shifts.

MinimumRequired Qualifications
- High school or equivalent experience.
- One year of experience in a work environment.
- Ability to read, write, weigh and measure necessary.
- Ability to communicate essential.
- Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs required.
$16.00/hr
