Position: (USA) Tire and Battery Service Advisor

Position Summary

Sam's Club #6413 located at 4900 N 27th St, Lincoln, NE. This position offers hourly wages from $19.00 to $27.00 per hour, with shifts that may vary.

Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Member – Collaborates with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educates other associates on tools, tasks, resources, mentors new technicians, and communicates effectively while developing interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service.
  • Be an Expert – Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS Tire Pressure Monitoring systems, product specifications and seasonality, and Point of Sale systems, phone and in‑person selling techniques.
  • Be a Techie – Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training, adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them.
  • Be an Owner – Communicates equipment, tools, and supplies needs to TBC Lead, tracks and monitors returns and special orders, operates cash registers, processes transactions, works hands‑on in the physical area, maintains accurate inventory audit safety and compliance standards, reports complaints, safety hazards and problems with products, services and work areas, completes paperwork, logs and other required documentation, ensures merchandise is packaged, labeled and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures, identifies member needs, assists members with purchasing decisions and resolves issues and concerns.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador – Models high‑quality service and products, influences and inspires others, works in a style that is respectful, supportive and team‑oriented, and assists in training team members.
  • Act with Integrity – Implements action plans using the Open Door Policy, maintains and promotes the highest standards of ethics and compliance, supports Walmart’s values and goals, and acts in a self‑less, humble, honest, fair and transparent manner.
  • Serve our Customers and Members – Delivers results with the customer first, makes decisions based on reliable information, balances short‑ and long‑term priorities, and considers how own work impacts the team’s ability to deliver on our purpose for all stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Auto service industry experience (preferred).
  • Retail experience (preferred).
