Position Summary
As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What You'll Do- Be a Team Member – Collaborates with cross‑functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service, being flexible to the needs of the business, maintaining in‑stock levels and controlling shrinkage.
- Be an Expert – Plans bakery production ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, following recipe measurement instructions. Works with a variety of products (decorating bags, tips, nozzles, etc.) to create flowers and lettering on bakery items, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
- Be a Techie – Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
- Be an Owner – Drives bakery performance, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events (holidays, graduations, family events). Identifies member needs, assists members with purchasing decisions and resolves member issues and concerns.
- Be a Talent Ambassador – Brand advocate that values the member experience in Bakery, models high‑quality service, interacts with associates to understand roadblocks, and assists in training, influencing, and inspiring them to work in a supportive, team‑oriented manner.
- Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity – Implements related action plans, uses the Open Door Policy, and applies these in executing business processes.
- Completes work assignments and priorities – Uses policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress; determines ways to address improvement opportunities and adapts to change.
- Respect the Individual – Embraces differences, creates a workplace where associates feel seen and supported, builds strong relationships, communicates with impact, and mentors others.

- 6 months’ experience in a Fresh Production Area.
