Part-time Sales Associate

Company Overview

Ace Retail Group (ARG), a division of Ace Hardware Corporation, owns and operates several Ace brands and operates over 250 neighborhood stores across the United States.

• Provide a positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware, proactively assisting customers in solving problems, greeting customers, and thanking them upon leaving.
• Maintain a friendly, outgoing demeanor and excellent product knowledge, helping customers with personalized service throughout the store.
• Assist with receiving, checking in, and stocking merchandise, including back‑stock levels and daily maintenance of the sales floor, stock room, and outdoor merchandise area.
• Keep the sales floor clean and orderly, manage end caps and ad merchandise, and reset merchandise as needed.
• Assist Department Specialists with price changes and special orders, and ensure signage is current throughout the store.
• Operate a forklift with proper training and communicate any Store Support Center issue to the General Manager.
• Communicate merchandising, cost‑control, and sales ideas to the General Manager, participate in store meetings, and perform all other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Formal retail experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25lbs, and climb.
• Demonstrated ability to exhibit ARG’s Core Values of Winning, Excellence, Love, Integrity, Gratitude, Humility, and Teamwork.

$15.00–$16.00 per hour.
