The Account Manager, assigned to a defined territory, is a critical role within Wurth MSM, responsible for the overall management, profitability, and revenue growth of aligned accounts. This individual is the main point of contact for customers—driving revenue activation, growth, and opportunity expansion. The Account Manager will work cross‑functionally with all internal teams to ensure exceptional service levels, revenue growth, profitability, and exceed customer expectations.
Must continually generate new business while continuing to service the existing territory base. This involves calling on existing customer base plus cold calling of potential customers within the defined sales territory.
- Travel the defined territory to grow business through direct face‑to‑face contact with customer base.
- Build customer relationships through face‑to‑face interactions, telephone conversations, e‑mail correspondences, and virtual meetings.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally, to develop and service new and existing business.
- Plan, implement, and execute sales strategy to include: quarterly business reviews, price maintenance, negotiations, profitability, and revenue growth.
- Utilize CRM, Hubspot, as a tool to track opportunities, and drive the business.
- Utilize data from reporting to drive strategy, growth and profitability.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience, industrial is a plus.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Demonstrated computer and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and emotional intelligence.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance coverage, and access to a vehicle.
- Standard business hours and overnight travel – up to 50%.
