Overview

Join our team as an Account Executive, where you will close new business and expand existing accounts by converting high-quality inbound opportunities, building pipeline through targeted outreach, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Revenue Ownership: Own an individual revenue quota across new business and expansion by maintaining healthy pipeline coverage, providing accurate forecasting, and consistently driving opportunities through the full sales cycle
- Post-Sale Involvement and Expansion: Remain engaged after the initial sale by partnering with Client Success to support upsell/cross-sell efforts, close expansion opportunities, and help drive long-term account growth
- Sales Execution and Professionalism: Run high-quality discovery and demo calls by clearly articulating Rent Vision's value proposition, following defined sales playbooks, and maintaining clean, accurate CRM documentation
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Client Success, Marketing, Product, and Leadership by sharing field insights, improving lead quality feedback loops, and contributing to overall sales strategy and customer outcomes
- This role requires frequent client communication through discovery calls, demos, follow-up conversations, and ongoing engagement with existing accounts to support expansion opportunities and drive long-term success. This position will also include occasional travel to meet with key accounts in person and represent Rent Vision at industry events and trade shows
- Account Executives work closely with Leadership and partner cross-functionally with Client Success, Marketing, and Product to drive revenue growth, improve the customer experience, and ensure strong alignment across teams. This role requires a team-first mindset, strong internal communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Territories are assigned in a lightweight and flexible manner and may be defined by geography or by ownership groups and property management portfolios. Territories exist primarily for accountability and clarity, not rigid deal ownership, and inbound leads may be routed outside of strict territory rules to maximize speed, fit, and customer experience
- Inbound leads are assigned using defined routing rules, such as round-robin within territory or weighted distribution based on capacity and performance. Expectations include fast response times, proper qualification, and accurate CRM documentation to ensure a strong customer experience and clean pipeline visibility
- Outbound prospecting is a core expectation of the Account Executive role, and AEs are responsible for building and maintaining their own pipeline through targeted outreach to ICP accounts. AEs also leverage marketing campaigns, events, intent data, and coordinated outreach with Client Success and Marketing for expansion opportunities, with outbound efforts expected to be strategic and personalized rather than high-volume or generic
- Experience in sales, digital marketing, or multifamily:
Candidates must bring a baseline foundation in at least one of these areas to support faster ramp-up and strong customer conversations - Ability to conduct effective sales discovery:

Account Executives must manage multiple opportunities at once while maintaining accurate deal notes, follow-ups, and forecasting - CRM proficiency and discipline:
Candidates must be able to document activity, manage pipeline stages, and maintain clean CRM data to support accurate reporting and forecasting
- Experience across multiple relevant industries: A combination of sales, digital marketing, and multifamily experience is strongly preferred and typically reduces onboarding time
- Hub Spot CRM experience:
Hub Spot familiarity is a plus, but not required if the candidate has strong CRM habits and can learn quickly - Experience owning a quota and forecasting:
Candidates who have managed pipeline coverage and forecasting expectations will be better prepared to succeed quickly
