A growing technology company in the multifamily housing industry is entering its next phase of growth and sales transformation.

Founded to solve a critical problem in the apartment industry—understanding how marketing actually translates into signed leases—the company has built a performance marketing and leasing intelligence platform that helps apartment operators connect marketing activity directly to revenue outcomes.

Today, apartment communities often rely on disconnected marketing vendors with little visibility into which channels drive leasing success. This platform provides data-driven marketing insights, predictive advertising technology, and revenue optimization tools that help property management companies increase occupancy and maximize revenue.

The company has established strong product-market fit within the multifamily industry and operates as a profitable, self-funded organization with approximately 50 employees. Leadership is now investing heavily in rebuilding and scaling the go-to-market organization to support the next stage of growth.

Key strategic initiatives include:

  • Rebuilding the sales organization with a structured leadership model
  • Expanding outbound and enterprise sales motions
  • Transitioning from founder-led sales to a scalable Account Executive model
  • Building predictable, repeatable revenue generation

This role represents a true build opportunity for a sales leader who wants to architect a modern sales organization inside a profitable and established company.

The Role

The Sales Manager will play a critical role in rebuilding and scaling the company’s sales organization.

This is a 0-to-1 leadership opportunity. The company is transitioning from an inbound-only sales approach to a structured SaaS-style go-to-market model. The Sales Manager will help design the playbook, hire and develop Account Executives, and establish the processes necessary to support long-term growth.

The role will report into the Client Growth leadership team and work closely with Customer Success and Revenue Operations to build a cohesive revenue engine.

This position is ideal for a leader who thrives in environments where process, structure, and scale are still being built.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $100,000 – $120,000

On-Target Earnings:

  • Realistic first-year earnings: $150,000 – $170,000

Compensation structure includes:

  • Bonus tied to percentage of team quota attainment
  • Quarterly payouts based on quota achievement
  • Accelerators once performance exceeds 100% of target
  • Truly uncapped earnings potential as the sales organization scales

Benefits include:

  • 401(k) with 6% company match
  • 17 days of PTO annually (accrued with rollover)
Relocation Support

Relocation assistance is available for candidates moving to the Lincoln or Omaha area and may include:

  • Company-paid visit to explore the area prior to relocation
  • $5,000 relocation bonus
  • Up to 4 weeks of temporary housing if needed
  • Up to $3,000 in lease reimbursement

Must-Have
  • Prior sales leadership experience managing Account Executives
  • Proven background in B2B technology or SaaS sales
  • Track record of strong individual sales performance earlier in career
  • Experience operating in complex, consultative sales environments
  • Comfort building processes and systems in evolving organizations
  • Ability to lead both inbound and outbound sales strategies
Strongly Preferred
  • Experience in marketing technology (Mar Tech), SaaS, fintech, or other complex B2B technology solutions
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts such as PPC, SEO, and advertising analytics
  • Exposure to multifamily housing, property management technology, or Prop Tech
  • Experience scaling or rebuilding sales teams inside growing companies
Typical Candidates Will Have
  • ~7–12 years of total sales experience
  • 3+ years of leadership or team management experience
