Packaged Gases Customer Service Representative - Lincoln, NE

Position overview:

Manages sales campaigns with the intent of scheduling appointments, gathering quotes, assessing satisfaction, and promoting MTG products.

• Place outbound calls to schedule appointments for sales with new or existing customers and inform sales of committed appointment times.
• Follow up with courtesy calls to determine customer satisfaction and needs.
• Provide quotes or complete sales if the campaign is appropriate to gain new business.
• Probe and identify problematic situations or opportunities that could protect or yield new business for MTG and communicate information to the appropriate function for follow‑up.
• Restock store merchandise as needed, arrange stock on shelves or racks, and keep merchandise orderly.
• Manage requests for product, price, and technical information.
• Assist in warehouse tasks such as shipping & receiving, inventory stocking, cleaning, labeling.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness per management procedures.
• Identify sources of leads and manage pre‑qualification process with sales and corporate marketing.
• Track results of outbound campaign efforts.
• Back up inbound customer service as needed.
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

• High school graduate or equivalent; outbound calling/inside sales, outside sales or marketing experience desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to establish and manage customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently.
