Business Development Manager – HRMS/Payroll Sales
We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional who will be responsible for net-new logo sales in the mid‑market and enterprise space.
Primary Responsibilities- Consistently exceed sales quotas.
- Prove success selling HRMS/Payroll solutions to complex organizations.
- Work primarily as a New Logo Rep (Hunter) and consistently exceed sales quotas.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of solutions, technology, and capabilities to solve customer challenges and help them achieve stated business outcomes.
- Present HCM products and services to final decision makers and end users within an assigned territory.
- Identify sales opportunities and develop sales and marketing proposals for customers on HCM, Payroll solutions, and services aligned with the prospective customer’s needs.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the HCM/SaaS industry, competitors, and analysts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Maintain a working knowledge of products and capabilities, incorporating technical advances in presentations to end users.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the strategic sales process.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years HCM sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of the HCM/SaaS industry.
- Minimum of 3‑5 years of proven success selling HCM/Payroll solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Incredibly organized.
- Experience with a diversity of prospecting strategies.
- 30‑40%
The base salary range for this position is $125,000 annually, with the opportunity to significantly increase total earnings through a performance‑based incentive compensation plan. The plan may provide for the payment of commissions and restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
