Our client is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to drive business development efforts focused on expanding fiber internet access within multifamily and multi-dwelling unit (MDU) communities. This role is ideal for a sales professional who excels at building relationships, negotiating agreements, and identifying opportunities to support market growth.
As an MDU Market Development Specialist, you will work directly with property owners, management companies, developers, and real estate investment groups to secure property access agreements that support fiber deployment and long-term revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Market ExpansionIdentify, target, and develop relationships with multifamily housing communities and MDU properties throughout assigned markets.
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through contract negotiation and execution.
Develop strategic partnerships with property owners, developers, REITs, and management companies to support market expansion initiatives.
Position fiber broadband solutions as a value-added amenity that enhances resident satisfaction and property value.
Negotiate property access agreements, licenses, easements, right-of-entry agreements, and similar contracts.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Address objections, resolve concerns, and create mutually beneficial solutions throughout the negotiation process.
Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and accurately track sales activity, forecasting, and contract status using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Provide regular reporting on pipeline health, market penetration, agreement execution, and business development activities.
Consistently manage multiple opportunities while meeting growth objectives and performance expectations.
Partner closely with Engineering, Construction, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure successful deployment following contract execution.
Serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams throughout the implementation process.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, telecommunications, commercial real estate, or related industries.
Experience negotiating contracts, access agreements, easements, licenses, right-of-entry agreements, or similar documents.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience utilizing Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
Ability to manage multiple projects and opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable developing new business opportunities.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
Experience with in fiber broadband, telecommunications, internet service providers, multifamily housing, property management, or MDU-focused sales environments.
Familiarity with property ownership groups, developers, REITs, and management companies.
Knowledge of property access agreements, bulk service agreements, exclusive marketing agreements, or similar business arrangements.
Experience in a field-based sales role focused on territory growth and market expansion.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
