Overview
Outside Sales Representative – Heavy Equipment. This is an opportunity to own a Nebraska territory, build an established customer base, develop relationships, and help grow the company's long-term market presence. The role focuses on being with customers, solving problems, and creating long-term partnerships with contractors, equipment dealers, municipalities and other heavy equipment customers.
It's a hands-on, field-facing role designed to let you make your mark by taking ownership of a territory and helping grow it over the long term.
Responsibilities- Spend approximately 60% of time in the field meeting with customers, visiting job sites, identifying opportunities, and strengthening relationships.
- Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, coordinate orders, maintain customer information, and help ensure the Nebraska operation runs smoothly.
- Engage with contractors, municipalities, aggregate producers, equipment dealers, commercial agriculture, and other industrial customers who rely on knowledgeable, responsive service.
- Focus on solving problems and building trust to support customers operations and long-term success.
- Enjoys spending time with customers more than desk work.
- Takes pride in building long-term relationships.
- Is comfortable prospecting and developing new business while growing existing accounts.
- Is naturally organized and follows through on commitments.
- Is mechanically curious and eager to learn technical products.
- Wants the freedom to manage a territory with support from an established organization.
- Sees opportunities to build something, not merely maintain it.

- Construction

- Other related technical or industrial products

Compensation and BenefitsThe company is prepared to offer a base salary of approximately $65,000–$75,000
, depending on experience and industry background. In addition, you ll participate in an uncapped commission plan designed to reward long-term territory growth and new business development. Leadership believes a motivated salesperson who embraces the opportunity to build the Nebraska market can potentially earn well into six figures as the territory grows.
