Job Overview
The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling a portfolio of technical and reprocessed medical products to both new and existing customers. The role requires developing and executing sales strategies, managing lead generation, and establishing strong partnerships with healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities- Generate revenue through the sales of reprocessed medical devices and execute sales plans under guidance of the Regional Manager.
- Build and maintain relationships with hospital staff, educating them on programs and their environmental and financial benefits.
- Develop tailored action plans to meet customer needs, achieve revenue goals, and drive growth within the territory.
- Conduct business reviews and presentations to educate and influence stakeholders.
- Stay current with product offerings, market trends, and competitive insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve customer concerns and support product training and implementation.
- Travel 20% of the time and work field‑based duties in healthcare facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in sales or a related field.
- 2‑5 years of outside commercial sales experience with a demonstrated record of achievement.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
- Proactive, independent work ethic with strong professional judgment.
- Basic proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
- Background or previous sales experience in the medical device industry.
- Familiarity with operating room environments or hospital operations.
- Experience presenting to decision‑makers and delivering impactful business reviews.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating market potential and adjusting strategies.
- Competence in using smart devices and common office equipment.
- Willingness to use PPE (gowns, masks, gloves) in hospital environments.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and travel 80‑100 miles per day within the territory.
Commission only: 100% commission with eligibility for bonuses and benefits. A travel ratio of 20% is expected.
