Summary
The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving growth, strategic partnerships, and revenue generation for Taracon Precast. Essential Functions
Business Growth Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business growth strategy aligned with the company goals and objectives.
- Identify new markets, products, and services to drive revenue growth.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
- Analyze customer needs and preferences to tailor strategies and offerings.
Partnership Development:
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to expand the company’s reach and capabilities.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Drive sales efforts, both directly and through the business development team, to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential clients.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Understand client needs and provide solutions that align with the company's offerings.
New Business Opportunities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, industries, and customer segments.
- Evaluate feasibility and potential return on investment for new ventures.
Proposal and Presentation Development:
- Oversee the creation of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure new business opportunities.
- Ensure that proposals align with client needs and company capabilities.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with other senior executives to align business development strategies with overall company strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations for business growth.
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to assess the financial viability of new business opportunities.
- Manage budgets and financial targets related to business development initiatives.
Networking and Industry Engagement:
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand recognition and establish relationships.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline progress, and revenue generation to leadership.
Execute other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
Required
:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience Requirements
