The Sheep Marketing Intern’s primary objective is to learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services and focus on new market development within the sheep industry. This internship is paid at $20/hour.

• Contact sellers within the sheep and livestock industries and educate them on Sandhills products and services.
• Explain how to enter information on our websites and assist with listing their items.
• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls and email communications.
• Gather information on sheep and livestock shows and meetings in the industry.
• Research the sheep and livestock industries and the proper way to list information on our site; provide feedback from the industry.
• Build solid relationships with members of the industries we serve.
• Demonstrate a heavy focus on customer service and sales and perform a variety of tasks to support website and publication success.
• Work as part of a team to help assure the success of the websites and publications.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

• Prior experience or knowledge in the sheep industry is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment.
