Security Officer – Access Control Specialist in Lincoln, NE will serve and safeguard clients in various industries, including Food/Beverage, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic food and beverage location, deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols, remain visible, and provide excellent customer service. - Control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
- Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries related to access and site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols for the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for irregularities or security-related concerns.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or policy violations according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
- Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
- Collaborate with client representatives and Allied Universal team members to help maintain a secure environment at the location.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
