Learn more:  As an Allied Universal officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

• Sat: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and assist with documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, and help to address access control issues, restricted area concerns, and/or after‑hours entry in accordance with site protocols.
• Support staff and visitors with directions, escorts, and general assistance while maintaining awareness of security‑related conditions throughout the location.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
