Event Security

Event Security – Pinnacle Bank Arena

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for Event Security at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The role reports to the Security Manager and is responsible for patrolling all areas of the arena property and parking lots, securing doors, ensuring the safety of all guests, employees, and contract labor while on premises, and securing property during move‑in/out of trade shows, conventions, or events.

• Stand guard during events.
• Tour the post periodically to ensure safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants, and others on premises.
• Handle any disturbances or problems that arise during events.
• Escort disruptive individuals off the premises in conjunction with local law enforcement if necessary.
• Report incidents to supervisor for incident report preparation.
• Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering.
• Tour the facility, examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.
• Assist with crowd control inside and outside the arena.
• Assist in controlling unusual circumstances and events during fire, storms, riots, and other emergencies.
• Respond immediately to emergency situations – answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Act in a professional manner with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.
• Ensure that every client, patron, and vendor receives the best service possible.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Graduated from high school or have a GED.

• Work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Deal effectively with public and other employees.
• Stand for long periods of time and climb stairs.
• Work inside and outside.
• Maintain neat and clean appearance.
• Initiate follow‑through on problems in the absence of supervisors and make appropriate decisions.
• Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others.
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Regularly required to move around the facility, stand for long hours during events, and talk and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building as needed by events.
