Armed Security Officer

Opportunity

Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our team.

Full Time, Day Wheel Rotation. Starting hourly rate: $25.00.

• Patrol the hospital campus and report safety/security issues in accordance with department procedures.
• Assist employees, patients, and visitors with parking needs, controlling entrances and exits to parking lots.
• Provide personal escorts and other routine security services.
• Respond to incidents and report issues according to established protocols.
• Work autonomously and as part of a team, maintaining a positive, customer‑focused attitude.

• Minimum age 21 (older).
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Driver’s license – Class

• Private Officer Commission – various (list provided upon request).
• Prior security experience preferred, but less than 1 year acceptable.
• Strong customer‑service skills, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
