Stephens & Smith Construction Specialty Products Division is currently seeking a full-time dynamic and motivated Crew Foreman to join our team. The Foreman has responsibility for assisting the Crew Supervisor (CS) in all field operations to include, but not limited to, serving as second command when CS is not onsite.

Key Responsibilities (Includes, but not limited to):

* Understanding the techniques, procedures, skid loader machinery, supplies, and handheld implements employed in the construction and upkeep of specialty products.

* Demonstrated capacity to guide, inspire, and offer support across leadership, safety, and production domains.

* Shares the responsibility with the Supervisor actively participating in the pre-construction phase, ensuring that the project meets scheduling/budget demands, safety and quality expectations, and are in accordance with Company policies and practices.

* Possess the capability to acquire knowledge and proficiency in all aspects of field operations, tools, and equipment, adhering to company personnel, production, and safety standards.

* Exhibits strong time management skills and meticulous attention to detail

* Goes above and beyond expectations to ensure the completion of tasks, surpassing the supervisor's expectations

* Takes full accountability for all actions and their consequences.

* Respects diversity and authority, and applies the Golden Rule at all times. Be open, honest, and accepting of other people's values and needs.

Physical Demands

Continually 70-100% Regularly 50-70%

* Continually endures persistent standing and walking.

* Rarely sitting.

* Continually required to reach with hands and arms.

* Continually required to speak and listen.

* Continually required to stoop and kneel.

* Continually spends time working outdoors and traveling in all weather conditions.

* Regularly working in awkward positions; stooping and reaching; being exposed to dust, dirt, fumes, noise, and sludge and climbing up and down ladders and equipment.

* Periodically lifting up to 80 lbs.

* Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and chemicals, etc. Chemicals will be handled according to Company policy and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

* Continually working with high noise levels and significant vibration associated with the equipment/tools, and jobsite environmental conditions.

* Regularly works under pressure meeting project schedules and budget guidelines.

* Continually utilize specific vision abilities required to perform the essential functions of the job, i.e., close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and

ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:

* A high school diploma or GED is a required

* Competent person with two years of on-the-job leadership experience.

* Having the ability to collaborate and work effectively with diverse personalities.

* A valid driver's license and an excellent driving record are necessary.

* Proficient knowledge of state and federal laws is essential to operate company vehicles and equipment in compliance with DOT guidelines.

* Capable of working independently and effectively under pressure to meet project schedules and budgetary constraints.

* Strong ability to multi-task and organizational skills to manage caseloads and work in fast-paced environment.

* Ability to learn and apply assistance in all areas of field, tool and equipment operations conforming to company personnel, production and safety standards.

* Operate DOT-regulated commercial vehicles and safely transport materials while pulling trailers

* Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish

* Lead and supervise a five-person crew, ensuring productivity, coordination, and accountability

* Maintain a strong focus on safety, responsibility, and compliance with all regulations

* Demonstrate reliability by consistently arriving on time and being ready to work each day
