Position Title: Field Service Technician
Wage: $47,840-$54,080 per year
Shift: 1st

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Field Service Technician at a company in Lincoln, NE. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position.

• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and performs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system repairs on company machinery and equipment out in the field at job sites.
• Operates equipped service truck with OE level diagnostic software.
• May assist other mechanics in a support role at the shop when needed.
• Performs all work in accordance with schedules, policies, procedures and standards of quality and safety.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Associates degree in diesel or automotive technology; and
• 5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must provide own tools of the trade.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to operate with minimal supervision, be a trouble shooter and take initiative to investigate and resolve problems.
• Must be able to work well with others.
• Must be flexible regarding work assignments and demonstrate willingness to perform other support duties during non-busy times.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
