Pay & Schedule$20–$23/hr
Full‑time, year‑round work
Consistent hours on a single, large project
You’ll work across earthwork and civil construction phases working with/ using equipment such as:
- Dozers
- Excavators
- Track loaders
- CAT 627 belly scrapers
- Motor graders
- Front‑end loaders
- Skid steers
- Tractors
You’ll also support the crew with spotting duties to help maintain job‑site safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment on active commercial sites
- Perform grading, trenching, excavation, and loading
- Switch between equipment as project needs change
- Spot equipment to ensure a safe work zone
- Work closely with crew members on earthwork activities
- Follow safety standards and project guidelines
- 3+ years of heavy equipment operating experience
- Strong ability to run excavators, dozers, and track loaders
- Reliable, hard‑working, and safety‑focused
- Experience with graders, skid steers, and wheel loaders
- OSHA‑10 (free certification provided if needed)
- Outdoor commercial job sites
- Within 20 miles of Lincoln (primarily south/southeast)
- Large‑scale, fast‑moving data center project
- Work in various weather conditions
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
