Hydraulic Service Technician $28-33hr - Weekly Pay

Location: Lincoln, NE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Daytime hours, no nights or weekends

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Service Technician to join our team of 11 professionals in a collaborative, high-quality hydraulic repair shop environment. In this role, you will provide exceptional service through the repair, maintenance, refurbishing, and rebuilding of hydraulic equipment and related systems. This position requires strong technical knowledge, hands‑on ability, and excellent customer interaction skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and compressed air system issues
  • Service and repair on‑road and off‑road mobile equipment, as well as industrial fluid power systems
  • Refurbish, rebuild, and replace components to restore equipment to optimal working condition
  • Perform welding and mechanical fabrication as needed
  • Create and maintain accurate service and repair documents
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Work overtime, travel, and participate in occasional on‑call rotations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Essential

Skills & Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting, repairing, and installing hydraulic systems
  • Proficiency in hydraulic plumbing, welding, and mechanical fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical schematics
  • Strong customer service mindset and ability to work independently
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills for documentation
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
  • Physical capability to stoop, bend, kneel, squat, and perform full‑range motions
Preferred Qualifications
  • HVAC system knowledge
  • Experience with lathes, milling machines, drill presses, hydraulic presses, and similar equipment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
