Action is seeking a Field Supervisor – HVAC Residential Construction to help lead our residential HVAC construction field operations. This role is responsible for supervising HVAC rough‑in, trim, startup, quality control, manpower coordination, jobsite readiness, field communication, and installation standards on residential construction projects. The Field Supervisor works closely with project managers, builders, foremen, installers, warehouse/purchasing, and other trade leaders to keep jobs moving safely, efficiently, and correctly.
This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who understands residential HVAC construction and can lead installers in the field, solve problems, improve production, and make sure work is completed to Action standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily HVAC residential construction field operations.
- Coordinate HVAC rough‑in, trim, startup, and punch‑list work across multiple residential construction projects.
- Lead, coach, and support HVAC installers and field crew members.
- Review jobsite readiness, plans, schedules, materials, manpower needs, and installation requirements.
- Work with project managers and builders to coordinate schedules, priorities, inspections, and jobsite access.
- Ensure crews have the information, materials, equipment, and direction needed to complete work efficiently.
- Monitor labor productivity, job progress, installation quality, and field performance.
- Identify production issues, material shortages, design conflicts, and schedule problems before they impact the job.
- Perform quality‑control checks on HVAC installations, including ductwork, equipment, venting, refrigeration lines, drains, controls, and code‑related requirements.
- Support inspection readiness and help resolve inspection corrections quickly.
