Apprentice Electrician
We are seeking a skilled Electrician with experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation Systems, Direct Digital Controls (DDC), and HVAC automation. This role involves the installation and maintenance of electrical and control systems, ensuring efficient operation of building automation.
Responsibilities- Install cable, wire, EMT conduit, control devices, actuators, and HVAC automation controllers.
- Utilize mechanical and electrical plans and control drawings for system installation.
- Perform startup commissioning and troubleshooting of control systems under supervision.
- Experience with electrical systems and HVAC.
- Proficiency in building automation and controls.
- Ability to read blueprints and control drawings.
- Experience with conduit bending and wiring.
Skills & Qualifications
- Two-year technical degree in HVAC, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Electronics, or Construction.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation is required.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, primarily at commercial jobsites.
Location:
Lincoln, NE. This is a Contract to Hire position and a fully onsite role.
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
