Role Description The Journeyman Plumber is a full-time, on-site role based in the Lincoln, Nebraska. This role is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems for residential and commercial projects, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and related equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing plumbing issues, performing scheduled and emergency repairs, testing systems for proper operation, and ensuring work complies with local codes and safety standards.

The Journeyman Plumber will interact directly with customers, provide clear explanations of work performed, prepare basic documentation of services, and coordinate with other HVAC and electrical team members as needed. This position requires working in the field, traveling to job sites, and maintaining a professional and safety-focused approach on every project.

Qualifications

• Strong plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of residential and commercial systems.
• Experience working with pipes, fittings, and related materials, with the ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Proficiency in maintenance and repair, including preventive maintenance and diagnosing system issues.
• Commitment to effective customer service, with clear communication and a professional, respectful approach on-site.
• Valid Journeyman Plumber license in Lincoln, NE.
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices on construction and service sites.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including collaboration with HVAC and electrical technicians.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting, bending, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in Lincoln, NE.
• Previous experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing service is strongly preferred.
