Skilled Laborer Job Description
Join a reputable General Contracting firm based in Lincoln, NE, known for its exceptional quality and service in Commercial, Manufacturing, and Industrial facilities. As a Skilled Laborer, you will be involved in physical labor at commercial construction sites, operating various hand and power tools, and working in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Responsibilities- Perform tasks involving physical labor at commercial construction sites.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including lifts, telehandler, and skid steer.
- Work with trades such as metal panel, trims, insulation, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in metal panels, metal trim, insulation, carpentry, drywall, painting, and concrete.
- Experience in using construction trades, heavy lifting, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to perform manual work following verbal and/or written instructions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation for consistent timeliness and attendance.
- Capability to work in extreme climates during both summer and winter.
The role involves working on commercial and industrial renovations or new builds, primarily outdoors throughout the year. The work environment demands adaptability to various weather conditions and a focus on safety.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
