Automation Technician; 3rd Shift

Overview

Automated production control support at the Lincoln,NE manufacturing site.

• Installs, repairs, maintains, and modifies factory automated control systems, equipment, and network/software interfaces.
• Provides direct, immediate support to manufacturing and packaging operations.
• Maintains automated systems such as data gathering, databases, electronic batch records, historians, reports, PLCs, HMIs, and instrumentation.
• Supports automation projects, including design, configuration, and upgrade of systems under direction from site engineers.
• Collaborates with production maintenance and facilities technicians for system monitoring, management, and troubleshooting.
• Exercises high degree of care to prevent injury or equipment damage.
• Ensures compliance with GMP, SOPs, health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, documenting work performed.
• Stays current with automation technologies and recommends adoption or deployment for effectiveness and viability.

• Associate’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent technical certifications.
• 3years of relevant work experience as an automation technician, maintenance electrician, or line operation technician.
• Basic understanding of Windows operating systems.

• 1–3years managing and supporting manufacturing automation systems.
• Experience with Allen‑Bradley / Rockwell Automation products.
• Knowledge of electrical system installation and troubleshooting, instrumentation, PLCs, HMIs.
• Basic understanding of domain/active directory, network switch configuration, SQL database viewing, software operation, IT support.

Lincoln,NE. Monday–Friday,10:30PM–7AM; rotating weekends as required.
