Carpenter – Custom Door Builder
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Hands-On Skilled Trade
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
We are hiring a Carpenter / Custom Door Builder for a well-established local company. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys woodworking, building with their hands, and seeing a project come together from start to finish.
This position will focus on building and assembling custom doors and door components based on customer specifications. We are looking for someone who is comfortable using tools, taking accurate measurements, and producing quality finished work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build and assemble custom doors and door components
- Measure, cut, and prepare lumber and other materials
- Use a variety of hand and power tools
- Read measurements, work orders, and specifications
- Make adjustments to ensure doors fit and operate correctly
- Sand, trim, drill, and prepare materials for assembly
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
What We're Looking For
- Carpentry, woodworking, construction, cabinet building, or similar experience preferred
- Comfortable using saws, drills, routers, sanders, and other hand/power tools
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanically inclined and enjoys hands-on work
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Custom door-building experience is not required if you have a solid carpentry or woodworking background and are willing to learn.
