Job Summary:

The Senior Plumbing Service Technician is an experienced, highly skilled plumbing professional responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing plumbing systems and equipment in residential and light commercial settings. This position independently handles complex service calls, provides customers with knowledgeable and professional recommendations, and ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable plumbing codes and company standards.

As a senior-level member of the service team, this position serves as a technical resource for other technicians and apprentices and may assist with troubleshooting, training, and mentoring less-experienced team members. The Senior Plumbing Service Technician is expected to demonstrate a high level of technical expertise, workmanship, accountability, customer service, and leadership while representing the company professionally in customers' homes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues involving water distribution, drainage, waste and vent systems, fixtures, water heaters, piping, valves, pumps, and other plumbing components.
  • Perform plumbing repairs, replacements, maintenance, and installations in residential and light commercial properties.
  • Independently manage service calls from initial diagnosis through completion, including identifying the root cause of plumbing problems and determining appropriate repair options.
  • Clearly explain findings, repair options, recommendations, and associated work to customers in a professional and easy-to-understand manner.
