Kidwell is seeking a Journeyman Electrician in the Lincoln area. Previous experience on a variety of jobs is preferred.
Applicants must possess strong technical skills, solid organizational and communication abilities, and a commitment to high-quality work. This position offers strong growth potential as we continue to expand across the Lincoln market. Many members of our leadership team (PMs, Estimators, Directors, etc.) started in the field, and new opportunities continue to open regularly.
A current State of Nebraska Journeyman license is required. All organizations deserve a first-rate experience when partnering with Kidwell, and our Journeyman Electricians directly represent Kidwell on job sites and in front of customers.
What You’ll Do:- Install and repair electrical systems and equipment according to plans, codes, and job scope
- Work from drawings and blueprints to complete high-quality installations efficiently, making good use of materials and labor
- Collaborate with the Project Management team and other trades to support successful job execution, including change orders, RFIs, and schedule coordination
- Help train and mentor apprentices on the jobsite to build competent, capable teams
- Prioritize daily tasks to keep work moving and support overall project timelines
- Work effectively with the general contractor and other contractors on site
- Maintain a safe work environment that meets or exceeds OSHA regulations
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and teammates regarding progress, materials needs, and any issues that arise
- Minimum 6 years of field experience including 2+ years as a Journeyman preferred
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills are required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

- All candidates must be able to pass a physical exam, criminal background check, drug screening and must maintain a valid Driver’s license.
