Travel Percentage Some## Description As the Jenda Independent Living Program Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our transitional housing and skill-building services. You will lead a team of direct-care staff, ensuring high-quality support that focuses on housing stability, education, employment, financial literacy, and problem-solving skills necessary for life as a successful, independent adult. This is a dynamic role balancing staff leadership, community networking, and crisis intervention.
** Key Responsibilities**
* ** Lead & Inspire:
** Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate program staff and to maintain the highest standard of trauma-informed care.
* ** Guide Case Management:
** Oversee individual independent living plans, ensuring youth receive top-tier guidance toward self-sufficiency.
* ** Manage Operations:
** Maintain compliance with contract and program requirements, identify, monitor, and adjust outcome measurements to ensure progress toward goals, and complete required documentation and reports.
* ** Build Partnerships:
** Cultivate relationships with local landlords, businesses, and community organizations to expand resources and housing options for youth.
* ** Ensure Safety:
** Provide crisis intervention and on-call support to handle emergencies effectively and maintain a safe environment.
* ** Focus on Mission:
** Maintain staff and program focus to constantly do what’s best for the client.## Qualifications
* *
* Education:
** Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.
* *
* Experience:
** Minimum of 2–4 years working with transition-age youth, foster care, or residential services, including at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
* ** Core
Skills:
** Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, excellent crisis de-escalation abilities, solid budget management skills, effective engagement and collaboration techniques.
* ** Requirements:
** Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
