As a Software Development Manager, you will lead a talented team in designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems in a multi-tenant cloud environment. Minimum Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

+ 3+ years of management or team lead experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed services

+ 5+ years of software engineering experience

+ Strong knowledge of operating system fundamentals

+ Strong understanding of data models and distributed persistence technologies

+ Thorough understanding of latest security principles, techniques, and protocols

+ Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills

+ Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle

+ Experience building and operating scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems

+ Experience in infrastructure as code platforms like Terraform will be a plus

+ Experience building and managing public cloud services

+ Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem solving abilities

+ Design, build, and deliver large-scale, distributed, and highly available cloud infrastructure systems from the ground up.

+ Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, prioritize work, and drive timely project delivery.

+ Apply deep technical expertise to solve complex problems, perform troubleshooting, and optimize system performance.

+ Champion professional software engineering best practices, including code reviews, continuous integration/deployment, and robust testing.

+ Manage hiring, onboarding, retention, and career development for team members, providing coaching and growth opportunities.

+ Drive innovation by exploring new technologies, methodologies, and approaches to elevate product capabilities and scalability.

+ Ensure adherence to the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols throughout software development and operations.

+ Support a dynamic and agile work environment, delivering results in a fast-paced and evolving setting.

Hiring Range in USD from: $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
