Software Developer (Blazor/.NET) – 24+ Month Contract
Location: Lincoln, NE (Hybrid – 2–3 days/week onsite)
Our client is modernizing a custom WPF desktop workflow application by rebuilding it in Blazor and migrating to AWS. This is a 24+ month contract role, with on-site work in Lincoln, NE required 2–3 days per week.
The Software Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing components of the new system, collaborating closely with both business stakeholders and IT teams in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Full lifecycle development: requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support
- Develop clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews
- Collaborate with users and provide knowledge sharing and training when needed
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, design reviews
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend development (C#, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server, AWS RDS/MySQL)
- 5+ years of front-end web development; Blazor preferred
- Experience with AWS services:
Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, Cloud Formation, Cloud Watch, etc. - Solid understanding of .NET Core, design patterns, and SOLID principles
- Familiarity with Single Page Applications (SPA) lifecycle
- Nice to have:
Experience with Microsoft Entra
