We’re looking for a senior engineer to be a technical cornerstone of growth. Not just someone who executes, but someone who shapes how we build. This is not a role where you’ll be handed tickets and told what to build. We’re looking for an engineer who owns problems end-to-end: someone who can take a hard, ambiguous challenge, figure out the right solution, and see it through without hand‑holding.

You’ll work across a modern .NET and Azure stack alongside a small, hands‑on team. You’ll have real influence over technical direction, architecture decisions, and how we approach problems. If you have a better way, we want to hear it and we expect you to make the case. This is an in‑office role in Lincoln, NE. We’re a collaborative team and we work better together in person.

• Own solutions to complex, open-ended technical problems from design through delivery.
• Contribute meaningfully to architecture and technical direction. Your opinion will carry weight.
• Work across the full stack: backend services, cloud infrastructure, data, UI, and integrations.
• Raise the bar for the engineers around you through code reviews, design discussions, and honest feedback.
• Identify problems before they become incidents and drive the fixes.
• Communicate technical tradeoffs clearly, to engineers and non-engineers alike.

• .NET / C# stack: WPF, ASP.NET, Blazor, MAUI
• Microsoft Azure:
  App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, Azure SQL, AKS, Batch
• SQL Server & Elastic Search for reporting, logging, and performance data
• CI/CD:
  Azure Dev Ops and Octopus Deploy
• C++ & Python for specialized workloads where they're the right tool

Skills matter, but we’re hiring for the person underneath the skills. We care more about what you’ve done than how long you’ve been doing it. This is a senior role, so you should have meaningful experience building and owning production software systems.

• Ownership — you find the work, you see it through, and you don’t need someone pointing you at the next thing.
• Curiosity — you still ask why things work the way they do. You don’t pattern‑match to comfortable answers.
• Judgment — you can evaluate tradeoffs honestly, including the ones that go against your initial instinct.
• Collaborative confidence — you have a point of view and you voice it, but you listen and you’re genuinely willing to be wrong.

• Proven track record of owning and delivering complex features or systems end-to-end.
• Strong foundation in .NET / C# and cloud-hosted architectures (Azure preferred).
• Experience working in small, fast-moving teams where you wore multiple hats.
• Ability to design systems, not just implement them.
• Experience building healthcare software is a plus, but not required.
